Godlike was the original hand-gripper series from Gods Of Grip. The company dates its release to 2018 and explicitly identifies the later Essential Hand Grippers as its replacement.^[1]

Place in the Gods Of Grip range

Godlike should not be confused with the separate Gods of Grip Elite Series. In a January 2022 discussion, reviewer Terry Conjugate Iron confirmed that the grippers in his earlier review were the original Godlike series, not the newly discussed Elite line.^[2]

The Godlike range used mythological model names. A surviving Gods Of Grip-branded product listing identifies the gold Achilles 200 lb model.^[3] These advertised pound labels are model strengths, not RGC measurements.

Contemporary demonstrations

Gods Of Grip published demonstrations explicitly titled for the Godlike grippers on July 14, 2019. They provide contemporary visual references for the original line and show setting and repeated closes.^[4][5]

Essential successor

The replacement Essential line has five advertised strengths: 100, 150, 200, 250 and 300 lb. Its colors are blue, green, gold, red and black respectively. Gods Of Grip describes the Essential handles as having low-to-medium knurling.^[1]

Those details identify the successor product. They should not be applied retrospectively to every Godlike model or used to merge the two generations into one catalog.
